The (PR) World Comes to Atlanta Again in 2015

Starting November 10, Atlanta welcomes the communications world to PRSA International, the largest annual meeting for the profession. Jim Cantore of Atlanta-based The Weather Channel is one of the keynotes. Georgia has quietly become one of the world’s leaders in the film and TV industry, besides Turner Broadcasting (CNN and many others), Tyler Perry Studios, we have Pinewood building a major facility here (the James Bond series), The Hunger Games Trilogy shooting here, cable TV dramas like “The Walking Dead” and several series on USA Network, plus a thriving corporate video ecosystem.  If you’d like to tour a studio while you’re here, reach out to me and I’ll try to arrange it.

There’s also the recreational aspect of International—you can visit the World’s Largest Aquarium, the World of Coca-Cola, or the new College Football Hall of Fame, or for history buffs, explore Civil War battle sites or walk in the footsteps of Martin Luther King, Jr.

The main attraction of the PRSA 2015 International Conference is networking, while engaging with some of the world’s most influential companies and organizations that call Atlanta home. Connect with thousands of colleagues and hundreds of industry experts from all career levels, sectors, work environments and industries for three days of practical insight and networking.

This year there is something for literally every practitioner, with five public relations/marketing communications tracks: Integration, Tools and Techniques, Specialization, Strategic Planning and Implementation and Leadership and Management.

You’ll have the ability to hear the latest, relevant case studies, find groundbreaking approaches from Silver Anvil Award-winning programs and technique-based programs that are tailored to the changing needs of professionals at all career stages of our careers.

I hope to see you there—there’s a $300 discount if you register by September 18.
