PRSA Health Academy Requests New Ideas in Re-Building Awards Program
The Executive Committee of the PRSA Health Academy is reviewing its awards program to better align it with the Health Academy’s new vision, mission and branding, as noted below.
Vision – Improve the health status of the communities we serve by advancing and elevating the practice of health care public relations.
Mission – To be an indispensable partner to the success of our members by facilitating the discovery of innovative strategies and tools as well as access to peers and communications leaders throughout the health care continuum.
Brand — PRSA Health Academy: Enrichment. Leadership. Excellence.
The prestigious Health Academy, a Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) Special Interest Section is comprised of nearly 900 mid- to senior-level health care public relations/communications professionals. Health Academy is PRSA’s second largest professional section. Our members and conference attendees represent pharmaceutical companies, medical societies, government health agencies, medical device manufacturers, health insurance companies, hospitals, biotech organizations and leading healthcare PR agencies.
