PRSA Health Academy One Month from Today
PRSA Health Academy’s annual meeting is just one month away and it’s our first-ever conference in Cleveland. The Midwest has hosted some of the best meetings in our history (with two extremely successful conferences in Chicago and one in Indianapolis thanks to support from Eli Lilly and Company).
Northeast Ohio is significant not only because of Cleveland Clinic, but also the new Global Center for Health Innovation. Cleveland has branded itself as “the nation’s medical capital” with more than 700 bioscience companies calling it home. Northeast Ohio-area healthcare startups lead the Midwest in attracting investments, bringing in nearly $200 million in the past two years.
The Global Center for Health Innovation is the only facility in the world that displays the future of health and health care, putting the spotlight on innovation, technology, education and commerce through state-of-the-art spaces, programs and virtual offerings.
Global Center spaces highlight the latest innovations of individual companies as well as collaboratively executed multi-organizational spaces. There’s the opportunity to have hands on interactivity with the latest research, product development, branding, sales and service results for companies and serve as a spark for medical innovation, education and training programs, and virtual offerings.
Beyond the excellent keynote speakers and programming at PRSA Health Academy, there is also the opportunity to socialize and network with leaders from major pharmaceutical companies, medical device manufacturers like St Jude Medical, leading medical organizations like AAFP and RSNA, payors like Anthem Blue Cross and CIGNA. It is truly an international conference and this year is no different, with registrants as far away as Singapore.
Besides learning cutting-edge PR strategies from key opinion leaders from Cleveland Clinic, CDC and top healthcare PR agencies, you will also learn how to develop new skills in emerging strategies:
- How health care communicators will redefine PR in the age of
mobile health. - Tips to create high-impact, inexpensive video content.
- How to make brand journalism work for your health care brand.
