Dr. Roizen to Keynote 2015 Health Academy Conference in Cleveland
The keynote speaker for this year’s Health Academy meeting for its first-ever visit to Cleveland is Dr. Michael F. Roizen, MD, the Chief Wellness Officer and the Gorman Family Chair as Chair of the Wellness Institute at Cleveland Clinic.
I had the pleasure of working with Dr. Roizen and his co-author Dr. Mehmet Oz during the launch of their first book “You: The Owner’s Manual” in 2005, and have subsequently worked with Dr. Roizen supporting publicity efforts behind his RealAge books and web properties.
Did you know Dr. Roizen’s first general-audience book, RealAge: Are You as Young as You Can Be? displaced Harry Potter for 7 days as #1 on Amazon? YOU: The Owner’s Manual, written with Dr. Mehmet Oz, became a #1 NY Times bestseller and was the #2 best-selling book published in 2005 — displacing Harry Potter for 35 days as #1 on Amazon. Their book, YOU: On A Diet, the Owner’s Manual for Waist Management, was the #2 best-selling book published in 2006. Dr Roizen’s RealAge and YOU books have been translated into more than 44 languages and have been #1 Bestsellers in five other countries.
